Hahn to celebrate 50 years in business in 2008
Fifty years for any business would be a milestone but it is even more amazing in the automotive aftermarket. Hahn Automotive Warehouse, Inc. will celebrate its 50th year in business in 2008. This second generation, family owned business has developed from a small local supplier into one of the largest distributors of automotive aftermarket parts in the country.
Hahn is now comprised of three basic divisions of distribution:
UCI and Prime Warehouses which service the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. This portion of the company services the company stores and independent jobber base.
Advantage Auto Stores and Genuine Auto Parts which service the professional installer and do-it-yourself customers. Nu-Way Auto Parts which is a regional direct distribution store group which features the ACDelco and Motorcraft brands in Western New York and North West Pennsylvania.
Hahn is part of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance and flies the Auto Value banner to support its parts store and service center customers in the traditional part of the business. Also included in the mix is the RAAC Warehouse which features parts and accessories that can be distributed within the entire customer base. This diverse combination of distribution within the strategic geographic footprint allow for a very efficient business model.
Owners Dan Chessin and Eli Futerman would like to express their gratitude to all of Hahn’s customers, vendors and employees for their support and dedication which have allowed the company to exist over the past five decades. “We have never lost sight of the vision that Mike Futerman had and the simple concept of helping our customers to be more successful”.
